Product description:
The Chinese name of DIPSO is 3- [N, N-di (hydroxyethyl) amino] -2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, also known as 3-bis (2-hydroxyethyl) amino-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid. DIPSO white crystal powder is almost insoluble in organic solvents involved in biochemical reactions, and its solubility does not change with temperature. It is in a 20 ℃ aqueous solution with a saturation of 0.1M, and the colorless and transparent solution is acidic. Dissolve it and prepare a buffer solution, which can adjust the pH of the solution within the range of 7.0-8.2. The DIPSO produced by our company is used in scientific research and other chemical fields.
In terms of molecular structure, DIPSO is a dipole ion buffering agent with a dihydroxyethylamino group, therefore it is biologically classified as a series of buffering agents belonging to the bis (2-hydroxyethylamine) amine family. DIPSO can form complexes with various metals and precipitate, so it is not suitable for biological research environments that require metal ions. For example, in cell culture media that require metal cations, DIPSO cannot be used to stabilize the pH value.
In the experiment of separating and purifying proteins using chromatography, in order to avoid the influence of pH changes on ionizable compounds and subsequently affecting protein separation, DIPSO buffer is commonly used to maintain the pH of the system at a relatively constant value. DIPSO buffer is also commonly used in electrophoresis technology, which maintains the pH value of the solution when the current passes through the experimental substance and provides the ions required for migration in the electrophoresis experiment. In biochemical research, the use of a buffer solution can limit the pH regulation range of the buffer system. Therefore, new buffering agents such as DIPSO, HEPES, MOPS, etc. are often combined to form new buffering agents to regulate the acidity and alkalinity of the solution. The pH high activity range of the combined buffer is larger, thereby reducing the concentration required when using the buffer alone and reducing the potential toxicity of the buffer to biochemical substances.
The CAS number of DIPSO is 68399-80-4, and the pKa value at 25 ℃ is 7.4-7.8. Desheng is a professional source manufacturer of DIPSO. With the efforts of scientific researchers, the production process is constantly improved, with higher purity, which can better meet the needs of customers. Welcome to procurement consultation.
